Buffalo Inner Harbor Construction
BIDCO provided all facets of marine construction, steel fabrication and underwater services throughout the project, which included the drill, blast and excavate removal of over 20,000 cu yards of rock to construct a new basin for vintage WW II ships. The fabrication included over 250 Tons of new steel and included installation of new mooring structures, rock-socket caisson drilling, and associated marine services to facilitate waterborne installation.
Underwater work included the salvage and re-floating of the Missile Cruiser; the “USS Little Rock”, and the underwater removal of both propellers from the Destroyer “USS The Sullivan’s”.
