ORGANIZATION

Being a small closely held company, members of the management team are key employees, working closely and “hands on” across many aspects of the Company’s operations. Currently there are seven full time administrative employees and 2 part time professional positions.

The company typically employs 20-50 commercial divers and marine tradesmen on a daily basis. The Company is primarily a union contractor in all unionized vicinities across the Northeast and is signatory to collective bargaining agreements with the Carpenters, Dockbuilders, Piledrivers and Divers, and Operating Engineer's representative local unions within the region. The Company enjoys favorable relations with its union partners.

As a practical matter, primary roles in each functional area of the business are as follows:
 

Mark C. Judd

President

Mark founded the Company in 1993 and has been President and major shareholder since inception. His responsibilities include direct oversight of all facets of the Company's operational management, finance and administration. His role as President includes direct oversight of personnell safety, strategic planning, implementation of the Company's plan, contract negotiations, sales and contract management. In addition to earning his Proffesional Divers Certificate from the Divers Institute of Technology in Seattle WA, Mark completed studies at the Community College of the Finger Lakes in Canandaigua NY, and also at Niagara County Community College in Sanborn NY.  Mark also completed the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Program (CEL) through the State University at Buffalo’s School of Management.

Eric M. Chenevert

P.E.Vice President & General Manager

Eric joined BIDCO in 2004 and is an operating partner and shareholder. His responsibilities include managing the day to day operations of the business, implementation of the company’s health and safety programs, sales and business development, and the general oversight and P&L responsibility of all projects. Before joining the Company, he was a Construction Manager/Project Engineer with URS Corporation (now AECom) and a Senior Engineer with Boswell Marine Engineering Company in South Hackensack, New Jersey. Eric holds a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Construction Management from the Steven Institute of Technology. He is Professional Engineer licensed in New York, Delaware and Connecticut, is a certified commercial diver, and a pilot.
 

Daniel Rider,

P.E. Project Manager/Engineer

Dan’s role with BIDCO over the last 10 years includes estimating, project engineering and project management of marine and pile driving projects. Dan’s experience and expertise is generally in heavy civil construction with notable emphasis in geotechnical engineering, foundations, earth retaining structures, sheet piling, and pile foundations. Dan has over 30 years of significant project experience working with companies such as International Chimney, Buffalo Drilling, and Darling Contractors.
 

Russell Harris

General Superintendent

Russ joined BIDCO in 2008 and is a key employee providing general oversight of field construction activities, specifically Russ is a piledriving expert. He is a 3rd generation pile-buck and brings over 30 years of heavy construction experience to BIDCO, which includes complex marine, heavy civil, and complex environmental projects. Prior to joining BIDCO, Russ was a superintendent with Sevenson Environmental Services and H.F. Darling Engineering Contractors.
 

DAVID PRYZBYLA

Diving Superintendent

Dave joined BIDCO in 1995 following a hitch with Oceaneering International right after graduating dive school, and has been a key employee who has provided valuable insight and has contributed to the success of our specialized diving operations ever since. He is our longest tenured employee and has contributed 23 years of his construction diving experience to BIDCO, which includes complex marine, heavy civil, and complex underwater construction projects.
 

CHRISTOPHER BUCKLAEW

Diving Superintendent

Chris joined BIDCO in 2000 following his honorable discharge from the US Army where he served our country in the 75th Ranger Regiment. “Buck” has consistently climbed the BIDCO company ladder over the years and has also strived to continue his education in diving technologies. He is an experienced Saturation diver certified as a HSE Closed Bell Diver / HSE Assistant Life Support Technician / IMCA DMT / IMCA Unrestricted Air Diver / ADCI Air Diving Supervisor / ADCI Bell Saturation Diver. Buck has traveled the globe working underwater and is a key BIDCO employee providing oversight to our specialized deep diving operations and heavy civil construction activities. He has attributed 18 years of his construction diving experience while working with BIDCO, which includes many complex deep-water diving operations and large scale civil marine construction projects.
 

LINDA CONLAN

Controller & Office Manager

Linda joined BIDCO in 2010 following a 14-year position at Northtown Automotive Group where she served as Sales Accounting Manager. Linda is a key BIDCO employee who contributes to the Company’s success and oversees the day to day function of BIDCO’s managerial offices and provides direct oversight to all accounting and audit functions of the business.
 

DALE HASELEY

Payroll & AP Manager

Dale is BIDCO's second longest tenured employee at 16 years of uninterrupted service. She joined BIDCO in 2002 following a 24-year position at Haseley Construction Company where she served a similar role. Dale is vastly experienced in small business accounting and oversees the important function of processing BIDCO's complex payroll, which often stretches across multiple labor unions and territorial vicinities on a weekly basis. She is charged with the responsibility of paying our valuable vendors on time and also with processing BIDCO's unionized employee's health care benefits and associated payroll functions.
